LAGO DI GARDA: MALCESINE

Olive trees, tiny streets, the castle, markets, old churces, many people in restaurants and bars - all that is typical for Mediterranean's small towns  and for this small town too. The only difference is in the mountain Monte Baldo (1760 mt.) above town, reached by a modern cable car that rotates 360 degrees on the way up. On the top is some 15 degrees colder than in Malcesine, tourists walk around the beautiful nature and enjoy lying in the grass or having a couple of beers in the restaurant. During the winter period the small ski resort is here. And the view of the Lago di Garda is just amazing.
